What’s considered vegan?

Strictly speaking, vegans don’t eat any animal product – this includes any meat or fish, as well as eggs, dairy or other produce like honey and gelatin.

A vegan diet mainly consists of plants such as fruit, vegetables, grains and nuts, and plant-based food.

The health benefits of a vegan diet

A well-balanced vegan or vegan diet can have many health benefits. It can offer all the essential vitamins and minerals necessary for a long and healthy life if well-planned.
